It gives you a voice and a vote to all PTA activities throughout the year. Studies have proven that membership in PTA provides your child with a greater chance of achieving in school. · It’s a wonderful way to meet new friends, other parents, and to get to know the teachers. This will introduce you to others that share common concerns and you will feel more empowered to do the tough job of parenting. · You will join in promoting welfare for our children in the home, school, community and place of worship. More than ever, it is important for parents to learn ways to keep children safe, trouble free and involved in school. PTA is the best place to gain that knowledge. · You will receive an Anderson Student Directory that will keep you and your children connected to others throughout the year. · It’s only $5.00 per member! $3.00 is sent to pay for state and national dues. The remaining $2.00 is used to fund Thursday night programs. · The PTA makes Anderson Elementary a better place!
