We are off to a great start and very pleased with how the school year is progressing. The Anderson PTA is very proud to bring the Watch D.O.G.S. program to Anderson with the awesome help of our school Counselor, Karen McWilliams! Watch DOGS is a program aimed at getting fathers and father-figures involved in their students school in a unique way.  Dads are asked to volunteer one full day at Anderson.  Each dad is given a schedule made especially for him.  During their time here, Watch DOGS are in their student's classroom as well 3-4 other classrooms.  A Watch DOG also experiences recess, specials, lunch, and dismissal.  So far, fathers have read one-on-one with students, helped students with math assignments, played classroom games, worked with small groups, played kickball and so much more!
